I hope everyone has a fun filled and safe 4th! Lauren Lundeen Miss Oklahoma USA 2012 and I were in the Liberty Fest Parade this morning. It was a great time seeing all the Americans out celebrating such an important day. We rode in style; Mr. Lundeen drove us in a vintage baby blue FORD Fairlane. There were so many people lining the streets holding the flags. It warmed my heart to see all the children waving back at Lauren and I. We had an absolutely wonderful time.

Pool party
One of my dear friend's Alexis Banks birthday was July 1st and her party was at the Governor's mansion and I met the Govenor of our great state. It was a wonderful honor to meet Govenor Mary Fallin who just happens to be the first woman to be Govenor of the state of Oklahoma. The newly crowned Miss Oklahoma America Alicia Clifton was also at the party it was a good time for everyone.

Bootcamp
Yesterday at Vanbros was a great day. It was our last day for this Bootcamp. We have one more bootcamp after this. This weekend we focused on Interview training with the wonderful Coach Valerie Hayes. When you have great instruction it is so rewarding not just for pageants but for your life. You gain life experience from those who are in the position to enhance your life.

Boot Camp
What a great start to the weekend. I got to see my sister queens at VANBROS & Associates today. We spent the afternoon in meetings about very important details related to the Miss Teen USA that is being held in the Bahamas July 28, 2012. I think tomorrow will even be more important. Definitely looking forward to it!!
